At Rockhampton Baptist, we have a lot of different ways you can connect with others. From exciting and fun programmes for kids and teens, to groups catering for people of more advanced years, we invite you to connect with our church family.

Children
Our exciting children’s ministries run as part of our Sunday morning service during school terms. Our whole church family enjoy praising and worshiping God together before our kids are released to their programs. (One of our leaders will let you know when the kid’s programs are starting!)

Friday Night Youth

- An activity-based youth group, providing opportunities to engage in an encouraging, inclusive environment while experiencing the Gospel in a relatable way.
7 to 9’ers
- High schoolers (Grades 7 – 9)
- During the morning church service every 2nd and 4th Sunday (school terms)
- 7 to 9’ers room – upstairs in the main church building
- A small group for younger high schoolers with a strong focus on growing their faith in Jesus.
JOLT (Journey of Life Together)
- High schoolers (Grades 10 – 12)
- During the morning church service every 2nd and 4th Sunday (school terms)
- Young Adults Rooms
- A small group for our senior high schoolers with a strong focus on personal and practical faith and preparing for life after school.
Young Adults
With a focus on both God and everyday life, our Young Adults incorporates small group study, learning and fellowship in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Who: School leavers to 30 years old
When: Tuesday 7:30pm
Where: Young Adults Room, Upstairs in Main Church Building
Growth Groups
Our Growth Groups are a great tool for Christians to grow together. A number of groups, catering for a range of ages and needs, meet at different times during the week.

Training & Discipleship
Ministry Training Central Queensland (MTCQ) runs on a semester basis and provides a deeper look at the Christian Faith, the Bible and theology. Class offerings change each semester so please contact the church office to find out what is currently being offered.
KYB (Know Your Bible)
An opportunity to explore and learn the Word of God in this daytime ladies Bible study.

Rockhampton Baptist offers a range of programs and activities that cater for both men and women.
Men’s Shed
Men’s Shed Nights are an informal way for men to get together and enjoy a meal and a chat while digging deeper into our faith. Shed Nights are open to all men and generally occur every second month.
Craft for Leisure
Our ladies craft group enjoy a wide variety of craft making as well as a time of fun and fellowship together. No experience necessary and we’re happy to teach and learn together.

English Conversation Class
Our English conversation group helps people gain a better understanding of the English language and Australian culture.

Aussie Hour
The format of Aussie Hour is designed to increase speaking and listening skills in a relaxed environment, utilising Aussie Songs and slang to encourage discussion and participation.
