Rockhampton Baptist Church is committed to protecting the privacy of people. Rocky Baptists collects and stores personal information which individuals provide to us when they attend our church or programs. We use that information to communicate with and care for people in our Christian community and may be disclosed to staff or ministry leaders as required to carry out their responsibilities towards people.
Your personal information may also be disclosed (where appropriate) to the police or government departments where mandated by law.
If your personal details are not provided, Rockhampton Baptist Church will limited in our ability to care for you and assist you in your spiritual growth.
If an individual wishes to make an inquiry or complaint regarding the way in which Rockhampton Baptist Church is handling their personal information they can do so by writing, telephoning, or by sending an email. - Providing safe environments and ministries that promote spiritual, social, and physical safety and personal growth and development.
- Promoting a culture of safety throughout the Church, constantly communicating, and reinforcing our commitment across all aspects of ministries and activities.
We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse or harm to children, young people and vulnerable adults and are committed to actively seeking to prevent this abuse and harm. This includes maintaining an open and aware culture, treating all concerns and allegations raised seriously, not minimising the impact of abuse and harm on the victim, and promptly responding to all concerns and allegations.
Rockhampton Baptist is dedicated to providing safe spaces for everyone and are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities under the eight Mandatory Requirements of a child and youth risk management strategy as set out by the Queensland Government Blue Card Services.
